Richard Sofranko

Richard Sofranko is an experienced engineering and innovation leader in the medical device industry, focusing on respiratory, cardiovascular, and orthopedic technologies. They have held various leadership roles at Philips, including Director of Research/Engineering for obstructive sleep apnea and Director of Core Research and Advanced Development for Sleep and Respiratory Care, overseeing numerous successful product innovations. Sofranko began their career as a Lab Manager at UPMC's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and later worked as a Biomechanical Design Engineer at Vascor. They earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
