Sarah Decato

Sarah Decato is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, and research within the fields of chemistry and environmental science. Previously affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, Sarah specialized in analytical instrumentation and the analysis of small molecule samples. Prior roles include an internship at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth focused on coastal management models, as well as fellowship at the National Science Foundation for developing ligand-conjugated micelles for tumor targeting. Sarah's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island, where achievements include research on targeted biosensors and innovative solutions for explosive detection. In industry, Sarah has held roles at The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont as a Regulatory Specialist and Consultant, currently serving as a Senior Regulatory Specialist at Philips.
