Scott Child

Scott Child is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality and engineering processes within the medical devices sector. Currently serving as the Director Q&R and Head of Product Quality at Philips since January 2016, Scott is responsible for driving product quality initiatives across Ultrasound sites and is an active member of the Ultrasound Q&R leadership team. Prior to this role, Scott held various positions at Philips HealthCare since February 1996, including Director of Engineering Processes, where responsibilities included overseeing design control processes as a project manager and lead system process designer. Additionally, Scott managed the verification and validation test team for ultrasound devices. Earlier experience includes software engineering at OEC Medical Systems and validation and verification engineering at Logicon. Scott holds a BS in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mathematics, and Spanish from Weber State University.
