Shannon E. Thomas is a creative leader and author of *The Practical Guide to Experience Design*, currently serving as the Global Head of Design for Service at Philips. Previously, Shannon established and led the experience design practice at VanMoof and founded The Artificial, where diverse design methodologies were developed for a range of clients. Shannon’s experience spans various organizations, including roles at frog, Microsoft, and Big Fish Games, where collaborative and user-centric design processes were prioritized. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Graphic Design, and English from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Shannon continues to foster innovation and engagement within teams worldwide.
