Shreya Bhan

Shreya Bhan is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Shreya's experience includes an internship at Westinghouse Electric Company as a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Intern, where Shreya developed a comprehensive dictionary using natural language processing techniques and leveraged machine learning for data enrichment. Prior to this, Shreya worked as a Research Analyst at Harvard University, analyzing the impact of AI on prosthetics under the guidance of Dr. Hong Pan, and as a Deep Learning Mentee at Tufts University, where Shreya focused on artificial intelligence techniques for COVID-19 symptom differentiation. Additionally, Shreya has experience as a Research and Development Intern at Tech Mahindra, conducting research in the biomedical industry. As of June 2025, Shreya holds a position as a Test Tools/V&V Engineering Intern at Philips. Shreya completed secondary education at Shanghai American School from 2012 to 2022.
