Thijs de Groot

Thijs de Groot has extensive experience in financial leadership, currently serving as CFO, SVP, and Head of Finance for Philips International Region since December 2005. Thijs has held several significant roles within Philips, including CFO for the DACH region, Managing Director of Philips Deutschland GmbH, and CFO for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging business. In earlier roles, Thijs led Financial Planning & Analysis for Imaging Systems and engaged in foundational financial roles within various business sectors. Before Philips, Thijs worked as a Financial Analyst at Smulders Group Holdco B.V. Thijs's educational background includes degrees from Eindhoven University of Technology, Tilburg University, Maastricht University, and participation in the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
