Tom Persons is a seasoned engineer with over 20 years of experience in design, reliability, quality, and risk management within the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer for R&D at Philips Invivo, Tom specializes in Medical Product Risk Management, adhering to ISO 14971 standards, and has substantial expertise in FDA Design Controls. Previously, Tom held key roles at companies such as Baxter Healthcare Corp and Linvatec, where they led quality engineering efforts, performed failure analysis, and developed risk management processes. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
