Trisha Tarra, PhD, is the Associate Director and Scientific Communications Lead at Philips, where they leverage their expertise in medical science and communications. Previously, Trisha has held roles as a Senior Manager in Medical Affairs and a Medical Science Liaison, building strong relationships with thought leaders and facilitating scientific discussions. Trisha's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a PhD in Biology from the University of Denver, where they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Additionally, they contributed to the scientific community as a Guest Editor for Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience and have experience in medical writing for prestigious institutions including Stanford University School of Medicine.
