Lea Rice

Lea Rice is an experienced educational professional with a focus on elementary education and special needs. Currently serving as a Learning Specialist at Phillips Brooks School since August 2017, Lea previously held positions as a First Grade Teacher at the International School of the Peninsula from August 2010 to June 2015, and as a Teacher at The Laurel School from August 2007 to July 2010. Lea began the career as a Teaching Assistant/Delet Fellow at Stephen S. Wise Temple from August 2003 to July 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching Students with Disabilities from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
