Writer, editor, and publisher, Aiden Hunt, created the Philly Chapbook Review (PCR) in 2023. He founded it as an online literary journal for book reviews, craft essays, author features, and publishing news focused on chapbooks. It has since expanded to feature both poems and short fiction excerpted from recent or forthcoming books as well as original poetry and short fiction. As of Issue 12, Philly Poetry Chapbook Review has dropped “Poetry” from our name.

Our Mission
Philly Chapbook Review was created with the simple goal of bringing attention to good chapbooks, their publishers, and their authors. The chapbook form is vital to the poetic world, in particular, and we want to celebrate and share it. We also want to share original poetry and short fiction.
