Philly Developmental LLC was formed to develop the creative theatrical work "Philly and the Dreamer", Music, Lyrics and Book by John Cal and based on a true story and the book "Philly" by Kevin Coughlin and John Cal.  Originally directed by Rebecca Rizzio and matured in front of live audiences, "Philly and the Dreamer" today is a high energy, fun-filled, classic story of family, friends and life, taking you back to a time of hope and optimism, when you believed anything was possible. An all-original score, wonderfully combining the classic musical styling of Traditional Broadway and Top 40 Classic Rock, "Philly and the Dreamer" has truly evolved into an entertainment buffet targeting and pleasing male and female audiences' ages nine to 90.  It's 1979.  A family grocery store in a hardworking low-income part of the city.  Mom, Dad, Nana, mobsters, and a plethora of colorful neighborhood residents and customers all delightfully real and familiar characters, each in their own way unique and emotionally engaging.
