Gabe Castro is an experienced media professional with expertise in programming, production, and sound design. Currently serving as the Member Programming Manager and Programming & Production Coordinator at PhillyCAM since June 2015, Gabe coordinates member productions and manages programming for the public access TV station. As a Podcasting Instructor and Access Facilitator, Gabe assists members with technical issues and promotes the creation of community-focused media. Gabe co-hosts and produces the podcast Ghouls Next Door, analyzing media through a horror lens, and serves as the sound designer for the Black Women Are Scary podcast. Additional experience includes working as a content writer for Mystery Science Theater 3000, assisting in productions, and managing social media content for various clients. Gabe holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mass Communication/Media Studies and Media Studies and Production from Temple University.
