Brandon Yap is an accomplished Product Designer with extensive experience in user experience and interaction design. Currently serving as a Product Designer at Philo since August 2022, Brandon focuses on enhancing video playback experiences and addressing usability challenges for a television cable streaming platform. Previously, as Executive Director at Scout, Brandon managed a design studio of 90 professionals and led multiple projects for various Boston-based ventures. Brandon also held roles as a Mobile Product Designer at WHOOP, where user research informed design solutions, and as a Senior UX Designer at Code4Community, creating web applications for non-profits. Additional experience includes design roles at Indigo, Scout, and The Boston Beer Company, complemented by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interaction Design from Northeastern University.
