Steve Brownell is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and analytics across diverse industries. Currently serving as Head of Data at Philo since March 2025, Steve previously held the position of Head of Data & Analytics Engineering at LaunchDarkly, where significant operational efficiencies were achieved. Prior roles include leadership as VP of Data Science at Tomo, Director of Data Science at Convoy Inc, and various positions at Zillow, culminating as Data Science Director for Emerging Marketplaces. Steve's expertise encompasses team building, strategic decision-making, and process optimization, complemented by a B.S. in Physics from Northeastern University and a Certificate of Executive Education in Behavioral Economics from The Wharton School.
