Thane Frivold is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles across multiple companies. Currently, Thane serves as a Software Engineer at Philo since August 2016. Prior to Philo, Thane held the position of Chief Architect at Red Giant Inc, where innovative card products were developed. Thane also served as CTO at GroupVine, contributing significantly to server development and transitioning the company to AWS hosting. Additional experience includes senior positions at Nokia, where Thane led software design for the Nokia Wireless Router and managed multiple teams across different global locations. Thane began the career as a Principal Software Engineer at Rooftop Communications and has a foundational background in software engineering from SRI International. Thane earned a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
