Daniel Silva

Daniel Silva is an accomplished Plant Manager and General Manager with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently, at PHINIA since July 2023, Daniel oversees full P&L responsibility for the South America region, managing a cross-functional team across various departments including sales, HR, finance, and logistics. Previously, Daniel held multiple roles at Remy Automotive Brasil from 2005 to present, progressing from Production Control Intern to Operations Supervisor. Additionally, in a significant tenure at BorgWarner Inc. from 2015 to July 2023, Daniel served as Regional Unit General Director for South America, responsible for the PowerDrive System business unit. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Corporate Logistics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
