John C. McDonald

John C. McDonald currently serves as the Director of Tax Structuring and M&A at PHINIA since July 2023. Prior to this role, McDonald was the Vice President of Global Tax at Lineage Logistics from October 2019 to June 2023, overseeing tax strategies for the world's largest temperature-controlled logistics provider. Additional experience includes serving as the Global Head of Tax at Flint Group, Director of Tax Planning and Director of International Tax at PwC, and Senior Manager International Tax at EY. Earlier career positions include Senior Tax Director & Counsel at Ally, Manager International Tax at Deloitte, and various tax attorney roles. McDonald holds an MBA in Finance and a JD from Wayne State University, along with a BBA in Finance from Western Michigan University.
