Alistair Murray

Alistair Murray has an extensive work experience spanning several years. Alistair started their career at Boots as a Pre-Registration Pharmacist in 2002 and later became a Store Manager/Pharmacist. In 2005, they joined Green Light Pharmacy as a Pharmacist and eventually became the Clinical Lead. Concurrently, from 2012 to 2013, Alistair participated in the NHS's Clinical Leadership for Commissioning Fellowship program as a Darzi Fellow. Alistair then worked as an Honorary Lecturer at University College London from 2014 to 2019. In 2015, Alistair joined LloydsDirect (formerly Echo) as a Clinical Director and later became the Chief Pharmacist. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Chief Pharmacist. Additionally, Alistair worked as an Honorary Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham from 2011 to 2022. Alistair also served as a Digital Pharmacy Consultant, being self-employed from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Alistair holds the position of Chief Pharmacist at Phlo, starting in May 2023.

Alistair Murray's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled at the University of Nottingham. Alistair pursued a degree in Pharmacy and completed their studies in 2002, earning an MPharm. In 2013, Alistair attended the University of Reading for a year and obtained a Practice Certificate in Independent Prescribing.

From 2019 to 2021, Alistair pursued a Level 3 Award in Wines (Advanced) at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Alistair also completed a Level 2 Award in Wines (Intermediate) at the same institution before 2019. Currently, Alistair is studying at Plumpton College, where they are working towards an MSc in Viticulture and Enology. It is anticipated that they will complete this degree in 2023.
