Damien O’Dea

Damien O'Dea is a Senior Consultant at Phocas Software. Damien has over 13 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in business analysis, software testing, and database development.

Damien started their career as a Junior Tester at Dimension Data in 2007. Damien then moved to AXA as a Tester in 2006 and later to National Australia Bank as Testing/Quality Team support in 2005. In 2008, they joined Utilibill as a Java Analyst programmer and then The SMART Group in May 2008 as a Business Analyst/Test Analyst/Database Developer.

At The SMART Group, Damien was responsible for writing business requirements and change request documents, scope of work documents for internal and external clients, and managing the testing effort on system rollouts and fixes. Damien was also responsible for testing of reports and database changes, SQL Server database support/development, and data analysis and improvement. In 2012, they joined Phocas Software as a Senior Consultant.

Damien O'Dea has a Bachelor of Information Technology from Swinburne University of Technology and a field in Information Systems from St. Bernard's College, Essendon.
