Dave Boorman

Dave Boorman is the current Chief Financial Officer at Phocas Software. Dave joined the company to support its growth ambitions within Corporate Development, culminating in a successful capital raising in December 2020. Dave took on the CFO role in March 2021.

Previously, Dave was the CFO Advisory at Symbiotic Nexus and other companies. While at Network Ten, they performed an advisory role on company development and commercial agreements for Symbiotic Nexus in the development of their own sensor modules and associated data solution with multiple sensor and network capabilities. After leaving Network Ten, the role focussed on bringing the product and commercial approach to the point of trial readiness. Once completed, focus transitioned to an operational field trial and product team, allowing Dave to expand their other projects out side the company into wider telecoms and IT areas.

Before that, Dave was the Chief Financial Officer at Network Ten. Ten Network Holdings is one of Australia’s leading entertainment and news content companies, with free-to-air television and digital media assets. Ten Network Holdings includes three free-to-air television channels – TEN, ELEVEN and ONE – in Australia’s five metropolitan markets of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, plus the digital platform tenplay. Ten Network Holdings also has investments in RSVP Oasis Active and The Roar, and operates datacasting channels in partnership with TVSN Channel (TVSN) and Brand Developers (Spree TV).

Dave has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Seven West Media and Vodafone Australia.

Dave Boorman has a diploma in management from Henley Business School, as well as qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA, CGMA) and The University of Sheffield (1988 - 1991). Dave also has a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
