John Sefton

Solutions Consultant at Phocas Software

John Sefton is currently a Solutions Consultant at Phocas Software. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Applications Development at APAC Customer Services from February 2012 to September 2013. In this role, they acted as the company's IT Application Development Lead during pre-sales and client facing demo's. John also worked with clients to understand the project requirements, and translate those into technical designs and work estimates. Once projects were approved, they managed a team of developers who delivered solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Before APAC Customer Services, John was with Protocol Marketing for four years from April 2009 to September 2013. John started as an Analyst/Project Manager/Developer and eventually became the Manager of Applications Development. In this role, they were responsible for managing teams of diverse technical backgrounds; SQL, .NET, BI, Force.com, Java, Oracle, Telecom, and more. Their primary focus was the development of SalesForce.com applications in a Call Center environment. This included client/vendor engagement, design, implementations and administration and support. John was also the Social Media Monitoring and Analysis SME and helped develop enterprise applications to react to trending topics and data mine conversations from the Social Cloud in a process driven way to allow for maximum agent productivity and client ROI.

John Sefton has a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from UCF College of Business, an MBA in Information Systems Management from Argosy University, and certification from LinkedIn in Enhancing Resilience.
