Bill Carroll, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the fields of economics, marketing, and revenue management. From 2002 to July 2015, Bill served as a Clinical Professor at Cornell University, where Bill taught courses in economics, pricing, marketing distribution, and revenue management, in addition to leading the marketing track for the master's program. Prior to this academic role, Bill held various positions, including Division Vice President for Marketing Planning at Hertz Rent a Car from June 1982 to June 1998. Currently, Bill is an Analyst at Phocuswright Inc. and Cayuga Hospitality Advisors, as well as the owner of Marketing Economics, providing consulting services to clients in the hospitality industry. Bill also serves as an instructor in the Cornell University Executive Education Faculty, contributing a wealth of knowledge earned from a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics obtained from Pennsylvania State University.
