Currently, 30% of the world’s fresh food supply is wasted. By 2030 the global population is expected to reach 8.5 billion and by 2050 we will require 70% more food from only 10% more arable land.
For the industry to prosper, it needs to operate more efficiently by using technology to drive operating improvements and reduce unnecessary waste.

Digital supply chains have the potential to drive a 20% reduction in procurement expenses, halve supply chain costs and increase revenue by 10%.

Phoenicia enables the Australian horticulture industry to overcome its supply chain challenges, drive its evolution and provide the critical pathway to its long-term sustainability.

Digitising fresh produce trade is only the first step for Phoenicia, with development already underway to introduce advanced functionality, including the ability for growers and buyers to collaborate on long-term supply planning.
Taking a whole of industry approach, the team at Phoenicia encourages all stakeholders to get involved with the platform and experience the solutions it can provide for pain points experienced across the supply chain.
