Andrew Smith is a Senior Actuary with extensive experience in both life and non-life sectors, specializing in reporting, capital, investments, and risk management. They began their career as a Trainee Actuary at Barclays and subsequently held several key actuarial roles at AXA UK, including Assistant Valuation Actuary and Senior Financial Risk Manager. Andrew is currently a Senior Actuary at Phoenix Group and previously served as a Senior Reporting Actuary at both Pension Insurance Corporation plc and Unum UK. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from The University of Manchester and have earned a Climate Risk and Sustainability Certificate from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
