David Devlin

David Devlin is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Interim Chief Investment Officer at Phoenix Re since October 2024 and in a Strategic Partnerships role at Phoenix Group since November 2022. Previously, David held positions at Scottish Widows from July 2016 to November 2022, focusing on bulk annuities and investment strategies. David's earlier career includes a consultant role at EY from June 2011 to July 2016, where significant contributions were made in Solvency II projects and risk management for major UK insurers. David also worked as a Pricing Actuary at Royal London from September 2007 to June 2011. David holds a Fellowship from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Glasgow.
