Geoff Shepherd is a seasoned compliance and audit professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Compliance Assurance Manager at Phoenix Group since February 2020, Geoff has previously held numerous roles at Royal Bank of Scotland plc from June 1986 to January 2020, including Senior Audit Manager and various other positions within Internal Audit. Key responsibilities included managing audit engagements for critical businesses, developing risk-based audit plans, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Geoff holds a degree from Edinburgh College & Napier University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
