Jonathan Pears is the Group Chief Risk Officer at Phoenix Group. Jonathan has over 10 years of experience in the music industry, working with some of the biggest names in the business. Jonathan started their career as a Music Director and Co-Manager at The Grand Magnolias, before moving on to work at Come Together Create, where they were Principal Director.

During their time at Come Together Create, Jonathan worked with a range of clients, developing digital properties and campaigns for them. Some of the clients they worked with include Capitol Records, G7 Marketing, Hope Song, William Morris Endeavor, Atlantic Records, First Note Play, Warner Music Group, Native Magazine, CMT, and Fullscreen Direct. Jonathan was also responsible for managing nationwide project launches for Ram Trucks, Tennessee for the Arts, Keith Urban, Infiniti, Thiel Audio, Blake Shelton, Harley-Davidson, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Live on the Green Music Festival, Global Citizen, Miranda Lambert, Lightning100, and Garth Brooks.

Jonathan’s extensive experience in the music industry makes him well-equipped to handle the role of Group Chief Risk Officer at Phoenix Group. In this role, they are responsible for managing risk across the organization and ensuring that Phoenix Group remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Jonathan Pears completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Auburn University with a focus in Business-Engineering Technology.

Jonathan Pears reports to Andy Briggs, Group Chief Executive Officer. Jonathan Pears works with Claire Hawkins - Director, Corporate Affairs & Investor Relations, Andy Curran - CEO, Savings & Retirement UK & Europe, Group Director Scotland, Phoenix Group, and Matthew Cuhls - CEO, ReAssure.
