Patrick Thomson

Patrick Thomson currently serves as the Head of Research Analysis and Policy at Phoenix Group since February 2022. Prior experience includes directing the Policy Institute at Shaw Trust, managing senior programs at the Centre for Ageing Better, and holding senior communications and stakeholder management roles at Capita. Thomson has also contributed to the London 2012 Olympics as the City Operations Business Manager and worked in the Government Social Research Unit within the Civil Service Fast Stream. Educational qualifications include a Master of Research in Contemporary Chinese Studies and a First-Class BA in History, both from the University of Nottingham.
