Sylvain Deplace is the cofounder of TOLV (formerly Phoenix Mobility) and serves as Directeur Technique Conception and a member of the CODIR. They lead the design for EV conversion kits and grew the engineering team to eight people, with four direct reports. They participated in writing the new French Retrofit regulation and implemented a standard method for retrofit kit development. They co-founded TOLV and contributed to converting the first Renault Clio, Kangoo, and Trafic to electric, and were the winner of Innotrophés 2019. They studied electrical and electronic engineering at Grenoble INP - Ense3 from 2014 to 2018.
