David Young

David Young has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. David is currently the Director Customers and Channels at PHOENIX group - Integrated Healthcare Provider. Prior to this, they were the Head of Retail Development at Rowlands Pharmacy from 2019 to 2021. David also served as the Head of Hospital and NHS Services at Phoenix Healthcare Distribution Limited in 2018. From 2015 to 2018, they were the General Manager UK at NuCare Limited, where they set up and established the company in the UK medical devices market. David also worked as a Business Development Manager at PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd from 2012 to 2014, where they developed strategic relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. Before that, they held various roles at Rowlands Pharmacy, including Outpatient Dispensing Project Manager, Operations Manager, Area Manager for the West of Scotland, and Pharmacist Manager. Overall, David Young has extensive experience in retail development, hospital services, business development, and operations management in the healthcare industry.

David Young studied at the University of Strathclyde from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a MRPharmS degree with 2nd Class Honours in the field of Pharmacy.
