Ryan Appel

Ryan Appel is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Finance and Controller for the Phoenix Suns since May 2022. Prior to this role, Ryan held the position of Technical Accounting Manager at Mesa Airlines, Inc. from May 2021 to May 2022. A significant tenure at EY spanned nearly six years, during which Ryan progressed from Assurance Staff to Assurance Manager. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Lecturer and Graduate Program Coordinator at the University of Arizona, where Ryan also completed a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
