Daniel Fanning

Daniel Fanning is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and engineering. Currently serving as the Work Instruction Coordinator and Tooling Designer at Phoenix Motorcars since January 2024, Daniel previously held the same roles at Proterra Inc. from May 2017. At Proterra, responsibilities included the development of work instructions for all-electric transit buses and ensuring robust manufacturing processes. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Senior Structural Designer and Checking Department Lead at Ford, Bacon & Davis, LLC, specializing in structural designs for diverse industrial applications. Experience also includes roles at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama and CAD Designs, focusing on production design and project management. Daniel began a career in engineering at Key Engineering, Inc., along with early experience as a Manufacturing Designer at Slate Security Systems. Daniel holds an Associate's degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology from Drake State Community and Technical College.
