Max Millar

Max Millar is a compliance executive at Phonexa with over a decade of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Phonexa, Max spent 14 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they served as a lead client service account manager and segment lead for Fintech and Broker Dealer clients. In this role, Max was responsible for predicting clients’ needs and providing appropriate solutions by understanding their business through and through. Max also acted as the center point for client communication with J.P.Morgan for all Treasury related matters.

Max was a key figure in successfully onboarding and growing the Fintech business as it was introduced. Max identified many opportunities for growth which produced significant savings for both clients and the bank. Additionally, they managed and led SME projects for products offered by J.P.Morgan to our clients to drive change and improve the service provided. Some of the notable clients they managed during their time at JPMorgan include American Express and Visa.

Max has a proven track record of developing, maintaining, and broadening partnerships with clients. Max also assisted in developing and executing strategic client plans, analysed payment and associated activities in order to identify efficiencies, promoted sharing of experience and best practice across the Service team, and identified opportunities for product development and enhancement. Furthermore, they developed internal partnerships (e.g. Sales, Operations, Product, and other lines of business) and identified and escalated potential risk associated with client activities.

Max Millar's educational career includes studying Business Studies at Bournemouth University and completing a Business NVQ at Godalming College.
