Mark Smitt

Mark Smitt is an experienced engineer specializing in thermal and mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Field Applications Engineer at Phononic since March 2017. Previously, Mark held roles as a Thermal Engineer at Radian Thermal Products, Inc. and Thermo Cool Corporation, as well as a Thermal Applications Engineer at FerroTec USA Corporation and a Thermal Mechanical Engineer at Cofan-USA. Mark began a career in engineering as a Machinist at Currie Machinery. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, following general education at Westmont High School. Expertise includes designing custom solutions, conducting thermal simulations, and optimizing heatsink designs for performance.
