Bert Monna

Bert Monna has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles. Bert is currently the CEO of PHOSPHOENIX, a company that focuses on developing a prosthesis to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to enhance visual perception. Prior to this role, they served as the CEO of Tiberion B.V. and Hyperion Technologies B.V. from 2013 to 2022. Additionally, they worked in business development at SystematIC design B.V. from 2013 to 2015, and as a Director at SystematIC design from 1998 to 2013. Bert started their career as a Designer at Catena Microelectronics from 1996 to 1998 and also worked as a PhD student at TU Delft from 1992 to 1996.

Bert Monna attended Hugo Grotius for an unspecified period of time. From 1987 to 1991, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the same university again from 1992 to 1996, this time to pursue a PhD in Electronics. Finally, from 1998 to 2001, Bert attended Nyenrode Business University to obtain their Master's degree in Management.
