Julia Tauscher

Julia Tauscher has extensive experience in research and development within the pharmaceutical sector, currently serving as a Researcher and Technical Support Specialist at Phosphorex since September 2012. Responsibilities include synthesizing microspheres and nanoparticles to create customized drug delivery solutions, ensuring compliance with GMP manufacturing, and managing brand development and administrative tasks. Concurrently, Julia has been a medical student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since September 2013. Previous roles include a research position at Phosphorex in the summer of 2011 and a photography position at the City Parks Foundation in 2010. Julia holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2013-2017) and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Studio Art from Amherst College (2008-2012).
