Max Spencer

Max Spencer is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and management. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Photoncycle since May 2025, Max previously held the position of Head of Hardware Engineering at Evyon from May 2022 to May 2025. Prior roles include R&D Manager at Shipshave AS and Project Manager at Visuray, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of innovative downhole X-ray measurement technologies and managing multidisciplinary teams. Max's earlier experience at Schlumberger encompassed roles as Mechanical Team Leader and Mechanical Engineer II, focusing on the design and development of high-pressure downhole tools. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, earned in 2004.
