Morris Cui

Researcher at PhotonFirst

Morris Cui is a researcher at PhotonFirst, who specializes in Optics. They previously worked as a guest research scientist at Optics TU-Delft from September 2015 to August 2017. Before that, they were a postdoctoral researcher at FOM from November 2012 to December 2014, where they worked on fiber-top technique for 3D cell measurement. From September 2010 to August 2012, they were a postdoctoral researcher SRON, working on the optimization of the output of quantum cascade laser. From February 2006 to August 2010, they were a Ph.D researcher at FOM, where they did long distance measurement with ultra short pulses. And finally, from February 2005 to January 2006, they were an Msc.research student at Philips Design, where they worked on the optimization of the output of OLED.

Morris Cui received their Doctor of Philosophy in Optics from Delft University of Technology. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science in Optics from Delft University of Technology and their Bachelor of Science in Applied Optics from Nankai University. Morris also holds certification from VCCN in Cleanroom-GedragsCursus and TU-Delft in Electronics for physicist.
