Marvin Smith, CPA, possesses extensive experience in state and local tax management, currently serving as a Manager at Phreesia since July 2021. Prior to this role, Marvin held positions as a State and Local Tax Manager at Grant Thornton LLP from March 2019 to January 2021, and as a Senior Tax Analyst at Rolls-Royce from May 2015 to March 2019. Marvin began his career as an Accountant at Heritage Environmental Services from July 2012 to May 2015, following a role as a Tax Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from October 2010 to July 2012. Before transitioning into the finance sector, Marvin served as an Operations Specialist (ESWS) 2nd Class Petty Officer in the US Navy from August 2000 to August 2005. Marvin earned a degree from Indiana University Indianapolis between 2005 and 2009.
