Asher Lisec

Asher Lisec currently serves as Vice President and Deputy Vice President of State Advocacy at PhRMA, a position held since January 2017, where responsibilities include managing a team focused on state policy in 17 states and representing the biopharmaceutical industry on various critical issues. Prior to PhRMA, Asher Lisec was a Senior Director of State Advocacy at Amgen and held roles such as Graduate Intern at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Human Research Regulations Specialist at the United States Department of Commerce. Early in the career, Asher Lisec worked as a Confidential Assistant at The White House and completed an internship there. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in History from Ball State University.
