Jason Powell

Jason has 20 years of experience architecting, implementing, and managing high scale 24x7x36 infrastructure environments and high-performance technology teams across the globe. He also has extensive experience in Cybersecurity and Privacy.

Jason sold his first company to a Fortune 500 and has had a passion for working and growing startups ever since. During his career he has been involved in numerous acquisitions and loves the challenges of growing and scaling.

At Phunware Jason is currently leading the IT, Platform Engineering, DevOps/SRE, Security and Privacy teams.

Jason holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of San Diego and resides in San Diego with his wife Stephanie and their two children, Jack and Liam.
