Avinash Gupta

Avinash Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Avinash is currently the Director of Engineering at PW (PhysicsWallah), starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PasarPolis from 2018 to 2022, where they held multiple positions including Director of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. Avinash was responsible for overseeing engineering teams, envisioning products, leading technology teams, and creating integration systems for clients in the insurance technology company. Before PasarPolis, Avinash co-founded HaloBee in 2016, where they served as the CTO, working towards digitizing the offline retail industry. Avinash also worked at Oracle India Pvt. Ltd as a Member of Technical Staff from 2015 to 2016, handling the build infrastructure of Oracle Web Services Manager. Additionally, Avinash worked as a Co Convener at Technex, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, managing various teams and organizing a Techno-Management festival. Avinash started their career as a Project Intern at Viaedge Software Technologies (I) Pvt. Limited and later as a Summer Research Intern at IIIT Hyderabad.

Avinash Gupta completed their high school education at St. Xavier's School from 1996 to 2009. After that, they attended K.D.B. Public School from 2009 to 2011. Later, Avinash pursued an Engineer's degree in Electronics Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, from 2011 to 2015.
