Avinash Kumar

Avinash Kumar is an experienced educator and professional in the field of physics and engineering, currently serving as a Professor at PW (PhysicsWallah) since March 2023. Prior to this, Avinash held various positions including Chief Operating Officer at ScienceAlaya, where the tenure lasted from April 2017 to March 2023, and Teacher at Vidyalai, providing one-on-one physics tutoring to students in grades XI-XII from March 2020 to March 2022. Avinash has also contributed as a Doubt Expert at both Toppr and Vedantu, and as a Program Associate at Avanti Learning Centres, with responsibilities in classroom teaching and facilitation. Earlier professional experiences include working as a Program Analyst at Cognizant, owning a YouTube channel focused on machinery called Machine Works, and coordinating the Indo Asian Solar Challenge event. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Team Captain for Team Ekalavya, which developed an electric solar vehicle and won the "Best Autocross" award. Avinash holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Lovely Professional University, completed between 2012 and 2016.
