Umar Mir

Umar Mir is a dedicated chemistry educator currently serving as a Professor at PW (PhysicsWallah), where they teach for IIT-JEE Mains and Advanced. Umar has also worked as a faculty member at Hope Classes and as a chemistry educator at Unacademy, focusing on IIT-JEE/NEET preparation. They began their academic journey with a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Cluster University of Srinagar, followed by an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, where they achieved high academic distinctions. In addition to their teaching roles, Umar has gained research experience as a Project Intern at St. Stephen's College and as a Research Intern at Jamia Millia Islamia, specializing in computational chemistry and nanocatalysts.
