Sarah Bakewell

Sarah Bakewell is the Head of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) for the UK and Ireland at the Institute of Physics, where they focus on fostering inclusive practices. Previously, they served as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager at AWE and gained extensive experience in training and development in roles such as Learning & Development Assurance Manager and Training & Development Specialist at a major defense contractor. They have also contributed to local education as a School Governor at Tregoze Primary School since 2021. Sarah's career reflects a commitment to strategic and operational excellence in inclusion and diversity initiatives.
