Maros Mastrak

Maros Mastrak has extensive work experience in various roles. Maros is currently serving as the Co-founder of Physikit since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler from October 2021 to December 2021. Maros also co-founded Interestingsamples and worked there from October 2018 to September 2021.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Maros held positions at Evonik as the Deputy Lab Head from November 2017 to October 2018. Maros started their career as a Junior Scientist at Biocrates Life Sciences AG in September 2016 and worked there until July 2018. In this role, they focused on the development of LC/MS based kits for high-throughput quantitative analysis of endogenous metabolites, data analysis, and method optimization.

Maros also gained experience as a Production and Analytics Assistant at Biocrates Life Sciences AG from January 2014 to December 2015, where they worked on sample preparation and LC/MS analysis for targeted metabolomics assays. Additionally, they served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Cell Culture at Medizinische Universitaet Innsbruck from March 2013 to December 2013.

Maros Mastrak completed their Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Biologie, allgemein at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck from 2011 to 2013. Maros further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Molecular biology from 2013 to 2017.
