Alex Stead

Alex Stead is a healthcare leader with a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, specializing in healthcare education and staff development. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager at Physiopedia, Alex previously held various roles at Ascenti, including Learning and Clinical Development Lead and Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. With experience in mentorship, onboarding, and service development, Alex is dedicated to enhancing clinical standards and supporting physiotherapists at all levels. Alex also contributed to academia as a Senior Physiotherapy Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, teaching anatomy and exercise health modules. Alex earned a Master's degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham.
