Maoz Dotan

Maoz Dotan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and aviation. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Phytech since January 2022, Maoz previously held the position of Captain and Senior Instructor at EL AL Israel Airlines for over 15 years, where responsibilities included managing flight operations and training crew members. Additionally, Maoz led the Data Analysis Team at Israel’s National Covid HQ in 2020-2021, spearheading efforts in data collection and predictive modeling, which significantly optimized national COVID-19 testing resources. Earlier experience includes contributing to the Israeli Medical Association in developing surgical training programs and serving as a pilot for C.A.L. cargo flights. Maoz holds a diploma in Data Science from Bar-Ilan University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
