Shania Simmons

Shania Simmons is an experienced Molecular Technologist II at Phytest Diagnostics, leading a team of laboratory operators in the validation and implementation of new molecular assays. With a solid background in business operations, Shania has also served as a Business Operations Coordinator at Hightech Manufacturing Services, where financial and operational functions were supported. Previous roles include Molecular Technologist at Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory, where expertise in PCR instruments and automated systems was developed, and Laboratory Technician at Provista Diagnostics, contributing to the launch of a COVID-19 testing platform. Shania holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Kennesaw State University and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Business Analysis at Georgia State University.
