Stella Planchon is an expert in food microbiology with a PhD and extensive experience in project management, research, and development within the field. They currently serve as the Technical Director of Microbiology for the Phytocontrol group, coordinating microbiology laboratories. Previously, Stella managed projects in microbiology and molecular biology at CTCPA from 2011 to 2024 and held a postdoctoral position at INRA from 2005 to 2010. Stella also worked as a temporary teaching and research assistant at IUT Avignon between 2009 and 2011 and earned their degree from UFR Sciences Les Cézeaux in Clermont Ferrand.
